LeganPay lets Indian businesses and professionals collect payments with a simple link. You create a link for an amount, we send it to your customer, and they pay online with UPI, card, net banking or wallet.
Any business or professional in India that bills customers: schools and tutors, clinics, consultants, CAs, freelancers, landlords, shops and service providers.
No. You create links from your LeganPay dashboard, and your customer opens the link in their phone or computer browser.
Click Sign up, enter your details and verify your email address. If you already use the Legan platform, you can open LeganPay directly from your Legan account.
Open Request payment in your dashboard, enter the amount, your customer's mobile number and email address, and a short reason for the payment. Click create and the link is ready.
We send it automatically by SMS and email to the details you entered. You can also copy the link and share it on WhatsApp or any other app.
Each link stays open for 7 days. Once it is paid or has expired it cannot be used again, so nobody can pay twice by mistake.
Yes. Mark the link as recurring when you create it so it is easy to spot in your list, and create a new link each month in a few seconds.
Yes. Every open and payment attempt is recorded under Link activity on the link's page in your dashboard.
Your customers can pay with UPI, RuPay, Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, net banking from major Indian banks, and popular wallets.
No. Your customer only opens the link and pays. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.
The link changes to Paid in your dashboard as soon as the payment succeeds, and you get a notification in LeganPay.
Your customer can try again on the same link, with the same or a different payment method, until the link is paid or expires. If money was debited for a failed attempt, the bank reverses it automatically.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner and settled to the bank account registered for your merchant account, as per the settlement cycle.
Exactly the amount on the link. There are no extra charges added for your customer at checkout.
A payment gateway fee and GST on that fee are deducted from each successful payment before it is settled to you. Every payment shows the full fee breakdown.
No. Fees apply only to successful payments.
Yes. Payments are processed by Easebuzz, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator with a PCI-DSS compliant platform, and every page is served over HTTPS.
No. Card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs and net-banking passwords are entered with the payment gateway and your customer's bank. Neither you nor LeganPay ever sees them.
