Do I need a website or app?
No. You create the link from your LeganPay dashboard and share it. Your customer just opens it in their phone browser.
Does my customer need an account?
No. Your customer only opens the link and pays. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.
How does my customer pay?
They open the link, choose UPI, card, net banking or wallet, and pay. It works like any online payment.
Where does the money go?
Payments are processed by our secure payment gateway partner and settled to the bank account registered for your merchant account, as per the settlement cycle.
What if a payment fails?
Your customer can try again on the same link with the same or a different payment method. The link stays open until it is paid or expires.
How long does a link stay valid?
Each link stays open for 7 days. After it is paid or expires it cannot be used again, so no one can pay twice by mistake.
Can I collect the same amount every month?
Yes. Create a new link for each month in a few seconds — the customer's details are all you need to re-enter.
Is it safe?
Yes. Payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. You never see your customer's card or UPI details.
How do I know when I'm paid?
